Rainbow Dash Pumpkin by BillyTheShark Rainbow Dash Pumpkin by BillyTheShark
I just started pumpkin carving, so I tried something easy.
Too bad no one recognized it. :/

OMG, how did I miss that? *I* would have recognized it. Shame on the people who saw yours! :P That was a fantastic idea that came out well. I didn't want to carve my pumpkins this year because I had grown some of them, and wanted my whole squash-centric harvest scene to last as long as possible. However, I definitely feel inspired...;)

Thank you! :D It would have been awesome if a brony showed up trick-or-treating. But nah, oh well. That's what deviantART is for!
Carving is fun! I'm new at it; I only carved one pumpkin as a kid. Pony pumpkins rock. It was fun to look at all the MLP jack-o-lanterns on deviantART after Halloween.

I keep hoping to run into a fellow brony/Pegasister in "real life"...wearing my shirts as bait, lol. ^_~

I actually think I may have done more carving within the past five years or so than I did as a kid, because my parents weren't huge fans of the mess involved, or the nasty mold that would start growing in the pumpkins' cut-out spaces. We did some cute face designs, though. I enjoy painting them as well--perhaps even more, so that the whole rotting thing is postponed!

Next year I shall definitely have to carve and/or paint a pony punkin. :3 It likely won't compare with most of the better ones, but ah well--totally worth a shot. And if there's anyone I could ever wrangle into doing a pony costume group with me, well, that'd just make for the greatest Halloween ever celebrated.

Me too, I just painted faces on pumpkins in the past. But carving is more fun, and the candles make it look *so awesome.* :icondashsoawesomeplz:

No kidding! Aw man, I wish I had some MLP-loving friends to wear costumes with and stuff.

Hehe, yeah, I like the feeling of the carving knife gliding through the pumpkin flesh...x3 *WUB*

I'm thinking of joining the New Jersey Brony club on the Rainbow Dash Network site...maybe that'll help me hook up with some fellows nearby. ^o^
